    Hello, all — I thought you might like Mr. P’s choices for 1992, which he offered to USA Today. Here’s the basic info, although there is a longer article.

    Best Picture: Enchanted April. Runners-Up: Howards End, A Midnight Clear, Night and the City, Mr. Saturday Night

    Best Actor: Armand Assante, The Mambo Kings. Runners-Up: Jack Lemmon, Glengarry Glen Ross; Dustin Hoffman, Hero; Billy Crystal, Mr. Saturday Night

    Best Actress: Michelle Pfeiffer, Batman Returns. Runners-Up: Emma Thompson, Howards End; Marisa Tomei, My Cousin Vinny; Robin Wright, The Playboys; Thandie Newton, Flirting.
