Review: … while offering a standard smorgasbord of soft-core sensual fantasies (with plenty of gratuitous t&a — though perhaps not nearly enough to satisfy “modern males”). The movie has no redeeming qualities: the script is utterly unoriginal, the editing is shoddy at best, the performances (even by Winger) are sub-par, and cult star Rainbeaux Smith barely registers. Watch for the unintentionally (?) homoerotic final shot. Redeeming Qualities and Moments:

First viewing. Yet another WTF title inexplicably included by Peary for FFs to keep an eye out for. WTF for?!!!
My guess: he wanted to champion the crossover of soft-core porn into a non-porn film. But who is the target audience?, considering ‘SP’57’ was apparently unintentionally designed to bore both men and women alike.
It never fails to surprise when a film drenched in sex is a snooze. A smidgen of intelligence might have been able to capitalize on the premise – and at least make it somehow amusing or watchable. No such luck. Did someone really think this would fly on breasts alone?
NOTE: Aside from the number of instances in which period details are at odds with each other, it is verrry mildly amusing to witness the almost complete absence of pacing in this film. A very, very l-o-n-g 90 minutes, folks.
