Its best moments show the authenticity (based in large part on Malle&#8217;s own childhood) of Ferreux attempting to learn from a kind-hearted prostitute (Gila von Weitershausen) his brothers have taken him to: <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Murmur-of-the-Heart-Boy-Prostitute2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Murmur-of-the-Heart-Boy-Prostitute2-1024x617.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"386\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-87880\" srcset=\"https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Murmur-of-the-Heart-Boy-Prostitute2-1024x617.png 1024w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Murmur-of-the-Heart-Boy-Prostitute2-300x181.png 300w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Murmur-of-the-Heart-Boy-Prostitute2-128x77.png 128w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Murmur-of-the-Heart-Boy-Prostitute2-768x463.png 768w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Murmur-of-the-Heart-Boy-Prostitute2-448x270.png 448w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Murmur-of-the-Heart-Boy-Prostitute2.png 1217w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8230; and navigating adolescent passes at girls once he&#8217;s at a sanitorium for his heart condition.
