<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Andr%C3%A9_Pieyre_de_Mandiargues\">Andr\u00e9 Pieyre de Mandiargues<\/a>, which was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0063013\/trivia?item=tr3992845\">&#8220;the first film to receive an &#8216;X&#8217; rating from the MPAA in the United States.&#8221;<\/a> There is very little to the storyline other than what&#8217;s described above; according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dvdtalk.com\/dvdsavant\/s3863moto.html\">DVD Savant<\/a>, Cardiff&#8217;s &#8220;aim was to express psychological sexual states in cinematic terms,&#8221; and that&#8217;s pretty much what you get here. <\/p>\n<p><a
