To his credit, screenwriter Buck Henry manages to keep us invested in this most fractious couple, who at first seem like an impossible match: <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Owl-and-the-Pussycat-Couple.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Owl-and-the-Pussycat-Couple.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"853\" height=\"364\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-78819\" srcset=\"https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Owl-and-the-Pussycat-Couple.png 853w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Owl-and-the-Pussycat-Couple-300x128.png 300w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Owl-and-the-Pussycat-Couple-128x55.png 128w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Owl-and-the-Pussycat-Couple-768x328.png 768w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Owl-and-the-Pussycat-Couple-604x258.png 604w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 853px) 100vw, 853px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8230; but eventually, of course, find their way into each others&#8217; arms.
