was this colorful comedic fable <a href=\"https:\/\/www.criterion.com\/current\/posts\/1055-jean-renoirs-trilogy-of-spectacle\">described by Jonathan Rosenbaum<\/a> as &#8220;a film in English set in a Spanish colony of Peru &#8230;
