While she has the best of intentions, she must deal with those who doubt the veracity and the source of her power, including her abusive new lover, Cal (Sam Shepard).  <\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<p><strong>Genres, Themes, Actors, and Directors:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do-Gooders<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Ellen Burstyn Films<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Lois Smith Films<\/li>\n<li>Supernatural Powers<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Untimely Death<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Response to Peary&#8217;s Review:<\/strong><br \/>\nAlthough Peary is an enormous fan of this &#8220;special film&#8221; which &#8220;slipped by moviegoers in 1980&#8221;, I find it ultimately unsatisfying.
