Against the advice of his lawyer-friend (Buck Henry), he signs a lease on property owned by a corrupt businessman (James Frawley), and immediately finds himself embroiled in a web of systemic corruption.\n<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<p>\n<strong>Genres, Themes, Actors, and Directors:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Character Arc<\/li>\n<li>Comedy<\/li>\n<li>Corruption<\/li>\n<li>New York City<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Review: <\/strong><br \/>\nThis largely improvisational comedy (starring members of a Greenwich Village comedy troupe known as &#8220;The Premise&#8221;) plays like a patchy sit-com, with occasional flickers of humor thoroughly overshadowed by a sloppy script and stereotypical characters. Aldredge&#8217;s character is <u>so<\/u> dumb (at first) that he&#8217;s literally hard to watch (he deserves what happens to him), while Henry (better known as screenwriter for <a href=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/?p=27573\"><em>The Graduate<\/em><\/a>) comes across as little more than a Jack Lemmon-wannabe, and director Theodore Flicker is simply atrocious in a cameo as Mr. Big, the city crime commissioner.
