While Kerouac writes and publishes <em>On the Road<\/em>, Neal carouses, and Carolyn attempts to maintain a stable home.   <\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<p><strong>Genres:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Biopics<\/li>\n<li>Counterculture<\/li>\n<li>John Heard Films<\/li>\n<li>Love Triangle<\/li>\n<li>Nick Nolte Films<\/li>\n<li>Sissy Spacek Films<\/li>\n<li>Writers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Response to Peary&#8217;s Review:<\/strong><br \/>\nAs Peary notes, legendary beat icons Kerouac and Cassady &#8220;come across as conservative dullards&#8221; in this &#8220;well-intentioned&#8221; but ultimately uninspiring biopic, based on Carolyn Cassady&#8217;s &#8220;sedate memoir&#8221;.
