The town&#8217;s police &#8212; including Lt. Yeaworth, Jr. &#8212; &#8220;once a drive-in favorite&#8221; &#8212; gives no indication that it would one day merit the full <a href=\"https:\/\/www.criterion.com\/films\/630-the-blob\">&#8220;Criterion treatment&#8221;<\/a>, with restoration and commentaries provided.
