Van Dyke Films<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Review: <\/strong><br \/>\nJeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy&#8217;s second film together (after the success of <a href=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/?p=38649\"><em>Naughty Marietta<\/em> in 1935<\/a>) features one of the most (in)famous musical romance numbers in movie history &#8212; &#8220;Indian Love Call&#8221;:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Oo-Oo-Oo-Oo, Oo-Oo-Oo-Oo<br \/>\nWhen I&#8217;m calling you<br \/>\nOo-Oo-Oo-Oo, Oo-Oo-Oo-Oo<br \/>\nWill you answer too?<br \/>\nOo-Oo-Oo-Oo, Oo-Oo-Oo-Oo<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Can you hear it? I&#8217;m sure you can. As seemingly interminable as this sequence is, the rest of the film also leaves much to be desired.
