We&#8217;re reintroduced to the likable heroines from <a href=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/?p=3499\"><em>Doctor of Doom<\/em> (1963)<\/a>, who once again must use their inimitable wrestling skills to help save the day &#8212; but the plot this time around is lame, full of offensive stereotypes of &#8220;evil Orientals&#8221;, and padded by contrived wrestling scenes. The &#8220;Aztec mummy&#8221; doesn&#8217;t appear until the final section of the film, when things rapidly shift into supernatural mode; fortunately, the cinematography at this point is atmospheric enough to provide a few (laughable) chills at long last. Overall, however, it&#8217;s a snooze.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Redeeming Qualities and Moments: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The atmospheric horror scenes down in the mummy&#8217;s crypt<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/07\/Wrestling-Women-Mummy.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/07\/Wrestling-Women-Mummy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-60381\" srcset=\"https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/07\/Wrestling-Women-Mummy.jpg 640w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/07\/Wrestling-Women-Mummy-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/07\/Wrestling-Women-Mummy-128x96.jpg 128w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/07\/Wrestling-Women-Mummy-360x270.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Awful dubbing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Must See? <\/strong><br \/>\nNo. Although this film is more famous (and has a better title) than its prequel, it&#8217;s ultimately much less enjoyable.
