In addition to plenty of amusing sight gags, it possesses a cohesive narrative, a sympathetic protagonist, and a refreshing character arc, as &#8220;Grandma&#8217;s boy&#8221; shifts from a simpering ninny to a self-confident young man worthy of our admiration.
