Nonetheless, after the first 15 minutes the film moves along at a fast clip, with the actors turning in surprisingly decent performances, and viewers kept in suspense the entire time. The movie&#8217;s black-and-white cinematography is chillingly atmospheric (though the off-kilter camera angles and occasional hand-held shots don&#8217;t quite work).
