There&#8217;s honestly <u>nothing<\/u> new here to speak of &#8212; unless you count the inclusion of a beautiful hump-backed female nurse (Jane Adams) as Dr. Edelmann&#8217;s assistant. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/House-of-Dracula-Adams.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/House-of-Dracula-Adams.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"540\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-64599\" srcset=\"https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/House-of-Dracula-Adams.png 720w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/House-of-Dracula-Adams-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/House-of-Dracula-Adams-128x96.png 128w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/House-of-Dracula-Adams-360x270.png 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Visually, it&#8217;s as stunning as the rest of Universal&#8217;s output, with appropriately atmospheric cinematography, impressively baroque sets, and some creatively conceived imagery. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/House-of-Dracula-Still.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/House-of-Dracula-Still.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"540\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-64600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/House-of-Dracula-Still.png 720w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/House-of-Dracula-Still-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/House-of-Dracula-Still-128x96.png 128w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/House-of-Dracula-Still-360x270.png 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But the lack of any type of original story for these (overly) familiar characters was simply killing me &#8212; and the forced inclusion of Frankenstein&#8217;s monster into the narrative is (if possible) more egregiously nonsensical than ever before.
