Last night, I had the misfortune of trying to sit through this earlier outing by Beaudine &#8212; and once again, its zany title really is all it has going for it. Of the two, Mitchell is bland and eminently forgettable, while 17-year-old Petrillo &#8212; though eerily spot-on in his imitations of Lewis &#8212; sadly projects none of Lewis&#8217;s comedic gifts, and all of his irritating neuroses. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Bela-Lugosi-Duo.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Bela-Lugosi-Duo-1024x632.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"395\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-57889\" srcset=\"https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Bela-Lugosi-Duo-1024x632.png 1024w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Bela-Lugosi-Duo-300x185.png 300w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Bela-Lugosi-Duo-128x79.png 128w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Bela-Lugosi-Duo-768x474.png 768w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Bela-Lugosi-Duo-437x270.png 437w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Bela-Lugosi-Duo.png 1495w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Despite the wackiness of its storyline, every single moment of this inane &#8220;comedy&#8221; is predictable far in advance, and not worth even a cursory glance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: I felt enormous empathy while reading Dave Sindelar&#8217;s review of this film for his <a href=\"https:\/\/fantasticmoviemusings.com\/2015\/03\/28\/bela-lugosi-meets-a-brooklyn-gorilla-1952\/\">Fantastic Movie Musings and Ramblings site<\/a>. He notes that he watched it for the first time out of curiosity, for the second time to verify that it really was as bad as he remembered it being, and for a third time to be able to review it.
