Rita &#8212; who also posed for a <em>Playboy<\/em> spread &#8212; has an enormous bosom, which she gets to show off several times at the beginning of the film. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/Zombie-Island-Massacre-Jenrette2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/Zombie-Island-Massacre-Jenrette2-1024x764.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"478\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-61993\" srcset=\"https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/Zombie-Island-Massacre-Jenrette2-1024x764.png 1024w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/Zombie-Island-Massacre-Jenrette2-300x224.png 300w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/Zombie-Island-Massacre-Jenrette2-128x96.png 128w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/Zombie-Island-Massacre-Jenrette2-768x573.png 768w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/Zombie-Island-Massacre-Jenrette2-362x270.png 362w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/Zombie-Island-Massacre-Jenrette2.png 1371w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, she and nearly everyone else in the cast are given inane, cliched dialogue, and the acting is mediocre at best. About halfway through, I finally realized that this film is actually camp in disguise &#8212; and that if it had been played up a few notches, it may have been mildly amusing. Unfortunately, everyone takes themselves far too seriously, and thus the story falls flat.  An annoying final note: there are no &#8220;real&#8221; zombies in this flick. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Redeeming Qualities and Moments:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Some genuine suspense, as well as a surprising (if unsatisfactory) plot twist<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/Zombie-Island-Massacre-Suspense.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/Zombie-Island-Massacre-Suspense-1024x770.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"481\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-61994\" srcset=\"https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/Zombie-Island-Massacre-Suspense-1024x770.png 1024w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/Zombie-Island-Massacre-Suspense-300x226.png 300w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/Zombie-Island-Massacre-Suspense-128x96.png 128w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/Zombie-Island-Massacre-Suspense-768x578.png 768w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/Zombie-Island-Massacre-Suspense-359x270.png 359w, https:\/\/filmfanatic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/Zombie-Island-Massacre-Suspense.png 1373w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Must See?<\/strong><br \/>\nNo. Any notoriety this film once had is long gone.
